The vision of PACA is to create a community performing arts center and theater that promotes the widest variety of artistic endeavors and educational opportunities. The overall facility will be economically self-sustaining.

PACA will provide quality space to teachers and practitioners of dance, theater, fitness, and music to explore their individual visions and goals. Teachers will be free to create their own class schedules and curriculum and attract students who will attend classes on a fee basis. Space will include a theater for live performances as well as several areas designated for rehearsals and classes. Soundproof vocal and instrumental rooms are being constructed. Individual instructors and impresarios will have the opportunity to direct their own classes and events and produce personal revenue.
By providing quality classroom and performance space to a wide range of practitioners it is hoped that a synergistic overlapping of talents will naturally occur and artistic creativity will organically develop and evolve. This sharing of talents should assist in creating new and original collaborations between artists. The combination of studio space in conjunction with performance space will allow these collaborations to be seamlessly presented to the public.
The motto of PACA is “Live Forward”. This seemingly simple statement is the guiding principle of whatever we do. It means that while the past is a reality, it isn’t the dogmatic overriding force that should be in control of our present. While one can learn from mistakes, it is counter productive to allow the past to usurp current efforts to do good work and produce positive outcomes. Live Forward means not dwelling on the past, even a past that is only minutes old, but continually shedding the old and working toward the new. Lve Forward means that we see ourselves in the moment in which we are. Problems are resolved. Successes are assimilated. Our goal at PACA is to keep the drama on the stage, not in our lives.
The purpose of PACA is to create a comprehensive performing and educational venue which serves the largest possible body of teachers, students, practitioners, and audience of an expansive range of artistic endeavors. It means creating vibrant venue for theater, dance, and music. But it also includes film, physical fitness, spoken word, and mental and spiritual development. Live Forward means supporting and nourishing each of these components. It means creating an opportunity for synergy with all PACA participants and then capitalizing on each opportunity with concrete well-defined goals and strategies. Living Forward means uncovering the deepest aspiration of each contributor and promoting the revelation of that vision. It is the unbridled growth of artistic expression.
Living Forward means establishing the sustainability of the arts, the individuals, our community, and PACA itself.
Just as PACA believes in living forward, we look forward to many new developments in the physical space over the next few months. For instance, the walls of the gallery should be completed by the end of the summer. This will create an L-shaped area surrounding the new stage and seating area which can be used for displaying artwork, rehearsal space, and various other purposes. Future plans for PACA include construction of several studio spaces, which could be used for dance studios, musical education, and various physical instruction courses, such as Tai Chi, Yoga, etc.
