The vision of PACA is to create a community performing arts center and theater that promotes the widest variety of artistic endeavors.
Jennifer Dennehy has been dancing for over 20+ years, trained in ballet, modern, tap, jazz, african, hip-hop, and a little bit of break dancing. She is currently a member of Dafmark Dance Company in Erie. She discovered hoop dance on the beach at Presque Isle during the summer of 2010. Ever since she has been developing her hoop style to incorporate her dance training.
Currently she teaches classes at Pennbriar, North Coast Dance, Dafmark Dance Theater, the Neighborhood Art House, and through the Erie School Distrcits CHAMPS program. She also travels teaching workshops at colleges and schools.
Also, Jennifer has just begun her journey as a teaching artist. Currently she is attending the Arts in Action graduate class at Edinboro University. She is available to come into your school to help impart subject matter to the children by utilizing her movement art form of hoop dancing.
Jennifer has performed at a number of events in the Erie Area including the Warner Theater New Years Eve 2010, Summer Festival of the Arts 2011, Celebrate Erie Main stage 2011 with the band "Is What It Is", Girls World Expo 2011, MS Benefit 2012, and the Erie Homes for Children and Adults benefit.
In addition to performing and teaching Jennifer also hand crafts her own custom taped hoops for both children and adults. Additionally, she is the only local artist who hand crafts custom LED (light -up) hoops.
