I like to think of myself as in- between, a hybrid akin to an amphibian. Never really at home in any environment but rather stuck between two.  I was raised by one culture while living in another, always defending one to the other. This gave me a unique understanding of both while feeling complete in nether. That is the deepest influence in my life and my art. Being in-between allows me to see both sides; judge two ways, both agree and disagree.  I try to express the darker side of existence with a comic twist. My art is both serious and ridiculous, as is the world we live in. My paintings combine religious imagery, current events, science fiction, and images reflecting my Balkan heritage. They are visualizations of my thoughts, shaken up and poured out onto the canvas.
